Kanye West breaks during peformance of "Hey Mama"
While performing in Paris last night, Kanye West broke down in tears during a performance of the song he dedicated to his recently deceased mother, Dr. Donda West. During the performance, Kanye can be seen covering his eyes for a short period of time, a short time later he left the stage to continue the show.
This really broke my heart, and for the first time, I saw Kanye as a human being, and not the spoiled little boy I’ve always seen before. Particulary when a couple of the members of his band walked up and began to console him. Audio of the audience just made it that much more touching. I just wanted to give him a hug.
Wow—-he’s back to performing already? When one of my parents go, I’d have to be pried out of the padded cell & straitjacket to deal with everyday life, much less work, sheesh!!!

I can’t believe he’s already back performing when he should be grieving. He needs time to grieve!
There HAS to be some sort of contractual obligation for him to be performing this close to his mother’s death. OR, maybe sitting home alone was driving him crazy and he felt that getting out amongst people would make him feel better.

I agree with the lesbian. Maybe if he didn’t perform a lot of people would have lost money, etc. I’m sure this stuff is planned months in advance.
